Adnan and Faisal opened the innings for Team A . Afaque and Gaj opened a fiercing spell where batsman were unable to score any boundary or quick singles. Afaque gave the first breakthrough taking the wicket of Faisal edged behind . Vishal stepped in . Reyaz was caught at short and was dismissed cheaply off gaj's bowling . The score at the end of 5 overs were 19/2. . Bowling attack swapped to Yuvi and Buland and they too bowled with extreme ferocism . Yuvi got 2 back to back wickets of Sarosh (Clean Bowled) and Dipin (Clean Bowled) for 0 .Buland picked up the wicket of Rehan and too didnt give any easy runs. Vishal took the innings forward changing gears and hitting all the bowlers out of the park. The score raised to 58/4 in 10 overs. But Afaque again produced an excellent spell taking 2 back to back wickets of Vishal (clean bowled) and Suraj (caught behind) . Farooq produced some fireworks in the last over and got the total score to 72 all out at the end of 12 overs.

Chasing the target , Fauzan and Vicky started the chase . Sarosh and Farooq opened the attack . Vicky jr. hit a huge 6 off Farooq's bowling. The score went to 13/0 at the end of 2 overs. However Sarosh came back strongly picking the wicket of Fauzan caught by Farooq at Long on. Rehan replaced farooq and put brakes to the run rate and picked up the wicket of Vicky jr. Afnan and Iqbal steered the chase ahead . However Suraj picked up the wickets of Afnan (caught behind by Reyaz) and Iqbal (Caught by Vishal at long on) . Yuvi and Gaj were at the crease and were steering slowly towards victory with already Yuvi hitting Sarosh out of the park.
The equation stood to 30 required. off 4 over. Suraj gave 5 runs off his next and Rehan took the important wicket of Yuvi (clean bowled) to push Team B at backfoot , but some fiersome hitting by Gaj bought down the equation to 15 off final 2 overs. Suraj bowled the 11th over and produced 2 back to back wickets of Buland (clean bowled) and Afaque (clean bowled) but conceded 8 runs and 7 runs were required off final over.
Gaj was the lone man standing against the hopes of Team A . First 2 balls produced 2 singles but edged the third one to Reyaz who took a breathtaking catch in the second attempt and Team B were all out. It was a very close finish.
It was a bowlers day undoubtedly.
